Another Day of Hard Work

Yesterday I was preparing leaflets for a conference we are doing a display for learning disabled people n Maidston ("Good Ideas : Good Practice") I am supporting an independent advocacy organisation called Voice for Kent -V4K-

We printed out hundered of leaflets and posters and flyers and created a load of promotional material as well as a few PowerPoint presentations.

There was a bit of a hiccup when my manager had a go because I printed 50 leaflets that had not been proof read. I would not have been that bothered but....

50 leaflets only cost about £5 and I had potentially saved the company £2500 - £3000 that morning by suggesting installing Open Office which is a free Office based application. This would save them installing MS Office on all the computers costing about £160 a time !!
